- Mammogram
- Cancer Screening
- General Exam
- OB/GYN Exam
- Dental Exam

These visits may fall into another category and have a higher cost if they are not preventative. This means that if your doctor discovers a medical condition during your visit, you may have to pay more for that visit. However, it may be well worth your while to pay the additional cost.
If they find nothing your visit may be free or very inexpensive. If they find something, you’ve gotten a head start on reversing the condition and extending your life.
Not all benefits are available with every medical insurance policy, however even many high deductible policies offer some free care. Even the $5,000-deductible health savings account plan from Blue Cross pays for several preventative care services.
Typically these benefits are available once per calendar year. If you haven’t taken advantage of your free health insurance exam or your free dental insurance exam for 2009, this is a good time to contact your doctor or dentist and schedule an appointment.
